- Duties and characteristics of a massage therapist
- Layout and preparation of a workstation
- Health and Safety
- Consultation procedures with a client before you commence a treatment
- Recommendations and contra indications to perform the massage
- Description and function of particular techniques
- The use and properties of essential oils, a detailed description of their properties
- General principles of performing hot stone massage
- Massage equipment, health & safety while using hot stones, how to clean and maintain stones
- Types of basalt and marble stone
- Performance and teaching techniques used in a relaxation massage
- Elements of reflexology
- Face massage
- Head massage
- Full body massage

Each student receives a manual with all the issues raised during the training. After completing the course you will receive a Penelope Academy Certificate endorsed by ABT.

Every student will receive a manual for them to keep.
Please note: that all students will be working on model. You have to bring in a model.
If you can’t find anyone be worked on you will be required to let us know 3 week before course so that we can arrange a model
