On this one day course, students will learn how to conduct microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion treats a variety of skin related problems. During a microdermabrasion treatment, a fine jet of abrasive crystals gently removes dead skin cells layer by layer and a vacuum action lifts away the debris, stimulating the blood flow and encouraging collagen and elastin formation.

Over the duration of the course you will cover:
- Health and safety in the workplace.
- Product and treatment knowledge.
- How to use tools and products.
- Application techniques.
- Preparation and keeping the work place and tools hygienic.
- Preparing the client for the treatment.
- Client care before and after treatment
- Recommendations for the client after their treatment.
Earn your certificate!
Each student receives a manual with all the issues raised during the training. After completing the course you will receive a Penelope Academy Certificate endorsed by ABT.

Students will receive a manual to keep.
Please note: Students are required to bring a model, preferably someone without problematic skin.
Should there be difficulty in finding a model, Penelope Academy require at least 3 weeks notice to find a model.
Models must be aged 18 or over

The minimum age for entry to this course is 18 years.
